Who we are

COLOR MY BOOK is a personalized coloring book service operated by COLOR MY BOOK LLC (an independent limited liability company under the IDMG Empire umbrella, based in Elgin, Illinois, USA). Reach us anytime at colormebooks.kids@gmail.com.

What we collect (and don't)

Photos you upload

• Photos are used only to generate your coloring book PDF.
• Photos are automatically deleted from our servers after your book is emailed to you (typically within minutes).
• We never sell, share, or use your photos to train AI models. They're your family's memories.
• Photo processing happens on trusted third-party infrastructure (Replicate, Netlify) and is deleted from those services on the same schedule.

Your email address

• Used to deliver the finished PDF to your inbox. That's the whole reason.
• Stored in our customer list (Resend audience) so we can email you your book and, if you opt in via the birthday-reminder form, an annual birthday nudge.
• We will never sell your email or share it with anyone outside COLOR MY BOOK.
• Unsubscribe or delete anytime by emailing colormebooks.kids@gmail.com.

Name on the book (optional)

• If you enter a name in the "Who’s the book for?" field, we use it two ways only: (a) to personalize the book title inside the PDF, and (b) to greet you by that name in the delivery email.
• The name is stored as your first_name field alongside your email in our Resend customer list. It is never used for behavioral tracking, ad targeting, or shared with anyone.

Referral tracking (optional)

• If you arrive from a share link that contains a ?ref=share parameter, we save that tag in your browser's sessionStorage (a temporary in-browser store that vanishes when you close the tab). It's used only so we can thank the friend who referred you when we look at aggregate share stats.
• No cookies are set. No third party sees this tag. Closing the tab deletes it.

What we DON'T collect

• No accounts. No passwords. No profiles.
• No behavioral tracking pixels. No Facebook Pixel, no Google Analytics tracker on this site.
• No cross-site cookies. The site uses only functional storage needed to make your book.
• No third-party advertising.

Kids' data (COPPA)

COLOR MY BOOK is designed to be safe for families, and this site lives on the .kids top-level domain — a domain family with strict rules about protecting children under 13. In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):

• Adults upload the photos. Kids don't create accounts. Kids don't enter their own email addresses.
• We do not knowingly collect any personal information directly from children under 13.
• The photos you upload may include children — those photos are handled by the same auto-delete rule above.
• If you believe we've received personal information from a child under 13 without adult consent, email colormebooks.kids@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.

Your rights

You can email us at any time to:

• Ask what data we have about you (usually just your email).
• Delete your email from our customer list.
• Correct anything that's wrong.
• Get a copy of anything we have.

We'll act on any of these requests within 30 days — usually much faster.

Security

The site runs on HTTPS (encrypted). Our function endpoints require secure API credentials. Your photos are transferred over encrypted channels. That said, no internet transmission is 100% secure — please don't upload anything you'd be devastated to lose or see.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the landing page for at least 30 days.
